Refund Policy

Last updated: April 5, 2026

We want Luna to feel fair. If the Service isn't right for you, we'll do our best to make it right. This page explains when you can get a refund, how cancellations work, and how to reach us.

1. Your right to cancel — any time

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until that date and will not be charged again.

2. Refund windows

Monthly subscriptions

If you purchased a monthly subscription and decide Luna isn’t for you, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase, provided you have not made substantial use of the Service during that period (as a rule of thumb, fewer than 15 exchanged messages). Renewal charges on monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable, but see Section 3 for exceptions.

Annual subscriptions

If you purchased an annual subscription, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. After the 14-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

Founding-member pricing

Founding-member plans are subject to the same refund windows as above. If you cancel a founding plan, you may lose your locked-in founding rate if you resubscribe later.

3. When we’ll refund outside the standard windows

We’ll always consider a refund — even outside the standard windows — if:

  • You were charged due to a clear billing error or duplicate transaction on our end.
  • The Service was materially unavailable or broken for an extended period and we could not resolve it for you.
  • You were charged after canceling because of a technical issue on our side.
  • Mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires it.

Just email us with what happened. We generally favor being fair over being clever about the rules.

4. How to request a refund

  1. Email [email protected] from the email on your Luna account.
  2. Include your Stripe receipt number or the email of the account, and a short note about what happened.
  3. We’ll respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.
  4. Banks typically take 5–10 business days to show the refund on your statement, depending on your issuer.

5. EU / UK consumers

Consumers in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts. Because Luna is digital content that begins performing immediately upon purchase, you will be asked at checkout to expressly consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that this causes you to lose the statutory right of withdrawal for content already supplied. This does not affect your other statutory rights, and it does not override the refund windows described in Section 2, which we offer voluntarily.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe there’s a problem with a charge, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than your bank can. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended while we investigate.

7. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Material changes will be announced by email or via a prominent notice in the app.
